Summertime Bliss: Couple Portraits

As photographers, nature is either with us or against us. The forecast predicted rain on the couple's special day but to our surprise we were only met with rays of sunshine. Sarah was adorned in a gorgeous blush pink dress with green and gold accents. To complement her dress, Sarah wore intricate Pakistani bridal jewelry, she looked nothing short of a regal bride. Her bridal bouquet was curated perfectly, elegant and simple, the perfect touch to Sarah's look. Similarly, Colin was dressed in a classic black sherwani with a green shawl, a nod to Pakistani tradition. Their looks blended together beautifully for an aesthetic photoshoot held at Kariya Park. The scenery allowed the couple to shine against the lush green field and flowers, Photographs of Sarah & Colin tucked away underneath her red veil was the epitome of romance. In that moment, it was just them. Rain or shine, their portraits truly encapsulate their love.

Sealing the Bond: Nikkah Ceremony

The Nikkah Ceremony took place at Jame Masjid in Mississauga, the perfect setting to solidify Sarah & Colin’s bond. Sarah sat alongside the wonderful women of her and Colin’s family, surrounding her with love and support. Due to COVID-19 restrictions at the time, social distancing was required but it did not interfere in catching intimate moments at the ceremony. In the serene atmosphere of the mosque, the Imam presented a recitation as well as emphasizing the sanctity of marriage. As papers are signed, Colin sweetly unveils his bride and the two embrace each other, celebrating this milestone they have reached together. Sarah's mother bestows a floral garland around Colin's neck, symbolizing the new addition to the family. The ceremony not only brings two individuals together, it brings families together as well. The abundance of love flows between both families, giving this new couple strength into a new journey.

A Celebration of Two Souls: Reception

The reception was wholesome and intimate as the newlywed couple make their entrance and are welcomed by their family and friends. A photo really does capture a thousand words, the room was filled with so much laughter and love. Sarah & Colin's reception included the game "who is more likely to?" which was a perfect way to interact with their guests and evoke laughter. Staying true to Pakistani tradition, the jhoota chupai game was not excluded as the lovely girls on Sarah’s side of the family were not going to leave empty-handed!

A New Chapter: Rukhsati
