The Enchanting Prelude: Portraits at Gairloch Gardens
Maryam & Talha chose Gairloch Gardens in Oakville for their couple shoot. As seen below, this location was the perfect choice for a winter romance straight out of a storybook. The snow-dusted pathways, tall evergreen trees, and delicate snowfall created a beautiful editorial-esque backdrop. This backdrop only enhances this couple as their true love and beauty lies within. Our bride, Maryam, was clad in an ice blue South Asian bridal gown with intricate silver and light pink details. Maryam exuded modern elegance against the wintery backdrop. Our groom, Talha, is adorned in a navy blue tuxedo, a regal choice to complement his bride. The contrast of the icy scenery with rich tones set the vibe for the magic to come.
Curated to Perfection: The Details
The reception was held at Oakville Legacy Banquet Hall in Oakville. The event was masterfully designed which turned the venue into a ethereal dreamscape. Working with palettes of ivory, blush, gold, and soft blue accents, @blissbeginnings created a sweeping white stage framed by gold arches. The cascading ivory florals, blush roses, and hints of powder blue created a garden-meets-ballroom feel. Overhead florals and hanging chandeliers transformed the room into a floral canopy — a true showstopper moment. Additionally, a floorwrap featuring "M & T" adding a personal touch to the decor. Every corner felt intentional, luxurious, and camera- ready.
A Night of Celebration: Grand Entrances & Family Fun
The reception began with a grand entrance of the bride and groom, walking hand in hand as they are engulfed by a fog machine making this a spectacular first look for their family and friends. The cinematic moment had guests cheering as the energy in the room radiated with excitement. Family portraits were taken which captured heartfelt moments as well as, an elegant cake cutting which featured a multi-tiered white cake with floral details created by @cake_delight_by_farah. Sparklers go off as Maryam & Talha cut their stunning cake, another show-stopping scene.
Maryam & Talha shared a romantic first dance surrounded by soft lighting. Their dance was undeniably wholesome, a quiet moment that felt loud with love. The dances did not stop there as family members performed choreographed dances, evoking emotion, laughter, and smiles all around. As we reach the end of the night, the dance floor opens up encouraging everyone to dance and celebrate. Guests were also indulging in late-night delights from multiple vendors such as a waffle station, kulfi, and gol gappe. The vibe was joyful and energetic, making this the kind of night guests remember.
